Off the beaten path, Paris Crepe is a restaurant treasure that has been on my ‘wish to try’ list for far too long. I enjoyed crepes during my trips to Paris, so the need to revisit that memory was calling.
I am so glad that I finally made the time to try this restaurant – it was incredible! So quaint and sweet, the atmosphere was very cozy and inviting. Several tables of friends chatted while sipping coffee and enjoying a drawn out afternoon. Admittedly, I was hangry at 2 in the afternoon, so I ordered the Thai Beef crepe entree, which contained beef, fresh herbs, roasted pears, red onion, peanut sauce, and crushed peanut garnish. It was incredible and I feel the picture will never do this crepe justice!
What is a crepe?
A crêpe or crepe is a very thin type of pancake. Crêpes originated in Brittany, a region in western France, during the 13th century. Crêpes are usually one of two varieties: sweet or savoury.
